Make a Reservation

Unfortunately, we’re not quite ready to take any reservations for when we open in May, however this option will be coming soon! In the meantime, our team would love to offer you their suggestions on some of Glasgow’s best places for food and drink! While we’re not affiliated with any of these brands, we feel it’s important to support fellow local businesses while we eagerly await our grand opening. Read on to find out which places in Glasgow are the Beresford Lounge team’s favourites.

Daniel’s Favourites…

“Whilst you can’t go on holiday quite yet, you can still order some sunshine-filled, Mediterranean home boxes from Alchemilla. Porter & Rye do some of the best steaks in Glasgow and are an amazing classic option! Meanwhile – serving up the best of Scottish seafood – The Finnieston is also high on my list of recommendations. With seasonal cocktails and colourful, modern cuisine, Five March is also an exceptional option. Lastly, I’d recommend Flur, which is a new contemporary spot, specialising in natural, organic wine!”

Matt’s Favourites…

“Exercising and staying healthy has been important to so many of us over lockdown and Kcal Kitchen provides the best healthy plates to support this! But if you’re looking for something sweet, Loop & Scoop is fantastic and they’re actually the UK’s first ever ice cream and churros bar. Epicures by Cail Bruich is another favourite local business of mine and you can still order to collect from their amazing bakery. Finally, Zique’s serves the best tasty dishes with real passion and fresh ingredients!”

Jamie’s Favourites…

“Gloriosa serves some amazing, tasty food and wines! Another favourite would have to be Kelvingrove Café – they have great drinks, takeaway food and a much missed environment through covid. I’m also a huge fan of Brett Wine Bar for the great staff and wine with delicious small plates. Meanwhile Tinderbox is my local coffee stop for walks and The Gate is a cracking East End bar with great takeaway cocktails!”

Clodagh’s Favourites…

“The Hug & Pint is such a cool wee gig venue and they serve the most unreal vegan plates! When it comes to pizza I’m definitely a lover of Paesano’s – who in Glasgow isn’t? Café Strange Brew in Southside do fantastic coffees and brunch (I can’t recommend the pancakes enough!). Lastly, if you’re wanting to contribute to an important cause while you get your sandwich fix, Social Bite do simply outstanding work to tackle homelessness and there’s never been a more vital time to help!”
